BBL Cup Final

January 30, 2018

A great day had by a number of our children, parents and staff at the British Basketball League Final held at Arena Birmingham on Sunday. Opportunity to watch two Cup matches and a Slam Dunk contest, as well as some fantastic entertainment by the BBL dancers and a special performance by Flawless.

Phonics Workshop

In June each year, Year 1 (and some Year 2) pupils take part in their Phonic Check. Parents attended our workshop to find out how they could help their child at home with decoding and to see how they could help prepare their child for the forthcoming test. ESafety Workshop

Ensuring that pupils are safe online is of high importance, especially as the world of technology is developing rapidly. The Learning Technologies Team supported us in helping parents understand how we teach, and how they can support, their child in the online world by hosting an ESafety workshop which was well attended.

Macmillan Coffee Afternoon

September 28, 2017

School council organised a coffee afternoon for parents to raise money for people facing cancer. Staff donated cakes and some took part in a fantastic ‘Cake Off’ which was judged by some of our school Governors. In total we raised an amazing £180. Thank you to everyone who supported the event.

Year 6 Residential to The Towers

This term Year 6 had the opportunity to visit The Towers Outdoor Education Centre. Parents attended the information meeting and the children had a fantastic time.

Mathletics and Spellodrome

Mathletics and Spellodrome are captivating online learning resources which support children with their mathematics and spelling. This term, parents were invited to attend a demonstration to enable them to support their children at home.
